Variance Batten
Variance Batten is a high light output, competitively priced T5 fluorescent fitting with an integral PIR presence detector, able to switch between 100% and 10% light output. Variance Batten combines versatile control options with excellent lighting performance, minimal wiring requirements and low cost of ownership. As such, it is ideal for projects requiring energy efficient lighting with automatic, intelligent control in areas that would typically use batten fittings, such as corridors, warehouse aisles etc.
With its integral presence detection, Variance Batten automatically reduces light levels in unoccupied areas while maintaining compliance with health and safety considerations, thus maximising energy efficiency. It also provides all of the energy-savings and light quality benefits of T5 fluorescent technology, giving a fast return on investment through low total life costs, including ease of installation and extended re-lamping schedules to reduce maintenance overheads.
The integral PIR presence detector is highly adaptable, offering a range of configurations and ‘hold times’ to suit the precise control needs of each project. Variance Batten is available with single or twin 28W, 35W, 49W, 54W and 80W lamp configurations as standard.
